Reacting to news of announcement, Limerick Chamber CEO, Dee Ryan said:

“I’m thrilled for the team in Limerick Chamber who work tirelessly to support our members. Post-pandemic the team fully reviewed our offerings to identify any gaps where our members could be better served and worked hard to excel beyond member expectations. It is a privilege to lead these talented individuals who are committed to supporting businesses in the Mid-West to achieve their potential, and it is an absolute honour for their work to acknowledged in this way. Limerick Chamber hopes to strive for the very best for our members and we will continue to work toward serving our members as best we can. I am proud of the work of my team in achieving four nominations across such important activities: from Lobbying, events, innovation and member supports.”

Limerick Chamber has been shortlisted in the Most Innovative Project for our implementation of the Limerick Chamber Strategic Development Pipeline, The SDP is an online portal providing detailed information on an estimated combined €6 Billion worth of investments in 39 major projects across the Mid-West. It outlines large-scale projects that are committed to or underway across the region. We have also been shortlisted for Event of the Year, for our Annual Limerick Chamber Presidents Dinner and Regional Business Awards. This is a sold-out event which has become a staple in the business calendar for those based in the Mid-West. The work on our highly successful Rental Monitor is now being acknowledged by the Chamber network as a shortlisting in the Lobbying & Policy Campaign, the rental monitor along with our recently launched Short-Term Letting Report are shortlisted under our ‘Better Regions Initiative’. Lastly, our final nomination is within the Supporting Members Award, this acknowledges the recent development and plans to support members through the development of our Digital Member pack, our retention pack and our profiling of members via our promotions page, social media promotion and website member highlight area.

Concluding, Dee Ryan said: “We would like to wish every chamber shortlisted the best of luck at the upcoming Chambers Ireland Award, the awards are a fantastic initiative which acknowledges the work and impact of the overall chamber network”.
