Specialising in SME, Retail and Hospitality and Corporate, Limerick Chamber has three separate business strands so we can better serve our members. We run a wide variety of innovative and inclusive business events and cutting-edge training courses, including a dynamic Regional Leaders programme.
Our Chamber Economist at Limerick Chamber is in-house so we are making a real impact by writing our own policies. We are also recognised for our very strong corporate reputation and active media presence.

Seán Golden joined the Chamber team in 2022. Prior to taking up his position at the chamber, Seán worked as the Economist with the Land Development Agency (LDA), leading their policy and economic research function as well as leading Project Tosaigh, the LDA’s homebuilding partnership. He also previously held the position of Senior Economist with EY, where he provided economic consultancy services to a range of organisations across the public and private sector. Prior to joining EY, he worked with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform / Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES) as an Economist and also spent several years in retail banking with Bank of Ireland.
Seán holds an MSc in Economic Analysis from the University of Limerick where he graduated top of his class and received the Northern Trust Outstanding Scholar Award. He also holds a BBS in Economic and Finance from the University of Limerick. Seán is also active in the voluntary sector in Limerick having worked with the European Expo 2020, Lean on Me and MyMind.
He currently chairs the Chambers Ireland Urbanisation taskforce.
Michael MacCurtain is the Skillnet Network Manager at Limerick Chamber and Limerick Chamber Skillnet. In the role since December 2021, he oversees the design, delivery, and evaluation of training and development programmes for businesses and employees in the Mid-West region.
Michael is passionate about helping businesses and individuals to enhance their performance, productivity, and potential through customised and innovative learning solutions. He is also committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients, and to collaborating with other Skillnet networks and organisations to deliver high-quality and impactful training and development initiatives.

Michael has a Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing & Analytics, a H. Dip in Digital Marketing, a BSC in Business and is a Qualified Financial Advisor.
Sian joined Limerick Chamber and Skillnet Network in February 2022. She has extensive experience in office administration, client relations and marketing across the Business Formation, Tourism, Services and Distribution sectors. Sian holds a BA Degree in Languages and Cultural Studies and a Masters in Community Music, both from University of Limerick. She also holds qualifications and experience in Language education and loves opportunities to use and improve her Irish and Portuguese . Sian is enthusiastic about the opportunity her role provides to assist in enhancing the work and training landscape of an increasingly vibrant Limerick and Mid-West region .
Margaret Corbett commenced work with the Limerick Chamber of Commerce in April 2011 and is a member of the Certificates of Origin team. Margaret began her career with De Beers in Shannon. Prior to this, she was mainly involved in clerical administration work in a variety of organisations. Margaret has previously held administrative and customer-facing positions at Limerick College of Further Education.
Mary Egan has worked as PA to the CEO and Limerick Administrator for Certificates of Origin and Chamber since 2014. Mary began her career with Dunnes Stores in the role of office administrator. She has previously held customer-facing positions with Croom Enterprise Centre and Barnardos. Prior to this, she was with First Active as Lead Customer Service Advisor. Mary is currently pursuing a Diploma in Human Resource Management with IBEC.
Antoinette Keating joined Limerick Chamber and Limerick Chamber Skillnet in September 2017 as Financial Manager. Antoinette has a certified ACCA degree in Financial Accounting and has extensive experience in all financial matters, From Banking, Monthly Reporting, Quarterly Accounts, Debtors, Creditors, Monthly Reporting for Executive & Board of Director meetings, Payroll and Office Administration. Antoinette also works with the team in the areas of Membership Communications and Skillnet activities. Prior to joining Limerick Chamber, Antoinette worked as a financial manager with numerous local SMEs.
