Kemp’s annual ‘Be Well at Kemp’ Event

Kemp’s annual ‘Be Well at Kemp’ Event from the 10th to 12th of April, aims to promote personal and professional productivity and wellbeing for all of their employees.   The activities they have planned encourage staff down the path to a healthier lifestyle by boosting energy and concentration levels, which are key attributes necessary for working in a fast paced, challenging and agile work environment such as theirs.

A Focus Webinar delivered by psychologist Sinead Lynch in conjunction with Spectrum Health is hosted on their Yammer Website for both their Limerick and remote based EMEA workers to access as and when they have time over the coming month. They also partner with their Healthcare provider VHI to encourage staff to use a VHI Health Station on site this week, to self-monitor and obtain a report on their blood pressure, BMI and Heart Rate.

To kick start their event Kemp will do an early morning desk drop making healthy snacks available to everyone for the week ahead. Kemp are also spoilt for choice in the Castletroy area as regards options for healthy eating, so Kemp have a healthy lunch on order for everyone in the office tomorrow. A couple of fun lunch time events they have planned include a General Health Table Quiz, daily email competitions and an Office Fitness Challenge, with great prizes for those taking part. Kemp’s employees are very competitive, so these events are beneficial for encouraging innovative thinking and boosting morale.

The last day of their annual event coincides with National Workplace Wellbeing Day on the 12th of April, so they will be participating in the Lunchtime Mile.  Kemp have also teamed up a personal trainer in our nearly OB Fitness Studio, to offer staff a free mindful mobility workout with refreshments on available enroute back to the office.

kemp always look forward to rolling out this event each year so make sure to take feedback from their employees on how they can build on these activities. They are also conscious of implementing a continual and progressive Wellness Program aligned to their organisational culture, so this is very much a work in progress for us, but one that we really enjoy developing, in order to make a difference to all their employees on a daily basis.
