WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Leading Wellbeing in the Workplace is an LMHA‑certified programme designed specifically for managers, HR professionals, and people leaders across the business community.
PROGRAMME CONTENT, OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES:
Developed by a chartered psychologist and delivered by experienced mental health practitioners, the programme offers a rich blend of online learning, in‑person workshops, and guided reflective practice.
Throughout the programme, participants are introduced to best‑practice approaches for recognising mental health difficulties in the workplace and responding with confidence, clarity, and compassion.
Rather than learning in isolation, they engage with real‑world examples, explore organisational challenges, and take part in structured scenario work that allows them to practise supportive conversations and decision‑making in a safe, guided environment.
A distinctive feature of the programme is its emphasis on applying learning in a meaningful and sustainable way. As participants move through the modules, they gradually build a personalised portfolio of tools, resources, and policies that reflect both the needs of their organisation and their own developing leadership style.
This body of work culminates in a comprehensive action plan designed to help them embed and maintain mental wellbeing as a living practice within their workplace long after the training has ended.
The programme also nurtures cross‑organisation learning. Participants have the opportunity to share experiences, compare approaches, and gain insight into best practice from employers across the region, creating a valuable network of peers all working towards healthier, more resilient workplaces.
CERTIFICATION / CREDENTIAL:
On successful completion, participants receive an official digital badge awarded by the Limerick Mental Health Association, recognising not only their engagement with the training but also their demonstrated commitment to promoting positive mental health in their organisation. This credential serves as both a professional endorsement and a practical reminder of their role in shaping supportive, wellbeing‑focused workplace cultures.
TRAINING DELIVERY METHOD:
Online and in-Person at Limerick City Hall
DATES AND TIMES:
-2hrs – March 20th 7-9pm – online
-Full day – March 27th 9am-5pm – In-person at Limerick City Hall
-2 hrs- April 2nd 7pm – 9pm – online
-Follow up on Creating a Mental health portfolio (duration 1-2hrs) to be scheduled later
FEES:
€1,200 per eligible learner inclusive of Limerick Chamber Skillnet discount (Full Limerick Mental Health Association fee without Limerick Chamber Skillnet discount = €1,500 per learner)
Eligibility for Limerick Chamber Skillnet discounted place: The Limerick Chamber Skillnet discounted rate is only available to employees of a company registered in Ireland or registered Sole Traders. The company or sole trader will be invoiced by Limerick Chamber Skillnet. The company or sole trader must pay the invoice, as opposed to any private individual or the employee(s) themselves. Trainees of any nationality can avail of our discounted rate in line with the above conditions. Our discounted rate is not available to employees of state/semi-state bodies or charities.
