Member Benefits Highlighted at Chamber Event
30 March 2015: Limerick Chamber hosted a special event for participants of the National Franchise Centre (NFC) to highlight how the Chamber supports start-ups and new business growth in the region through a myriad of membership services. The NFC is an enterprise hub in the heart of Limerick city which was established by Limerick Institute of Technology in partnership with Limerick Chamber. All participants of the NFC’s start-up programmes are offered subsidised membership of Limerick Chamber.
During the well-attended informal gathering, participants enjoyed networking with their peers, engaging with the Chamber team and learning how to build their business with the support of Limerick Chamber.
Dr James Ring, Limerick Chamber CEO, commented “Being involved with Limerick Chamber can make a real difference to a business. This event was all about encouraging participants, whether they are a start-up or getting a new business concept off the ground, to engage with us so that we can work more effectively for them. With members input, we can ensure the services we provide and lobbying we undertake are relevant and make an impact. A big part of our role is securing the jobs we have here already by ensuring that the right conditions for business are in place and offering support to SME’s so they can expand and grow.”
Martina McGrath, Enterprise Development Manager, noted “Limerick Chamber is in business for business. Members active involvement – be it through interactions with Chamber staff or attending our calendar of events and training – means we can continue to support business growth in the region.”
