14 January 2013: Limerick Chamber has welcomed the news that Vistakon is to create 100 new jobs and expand its Plassey site, thereby creating a further 200 construction jobs.
Maria Kelly, CEO, Limerick Chamber, said “Today’s announcement is a great boost for the Limerick region. Vistakon’s investment strengthens Limerick’s reputation as a location of choice to do business. On the back of the 400 new jobs announced by Northern Trust last year, this brings a new sense of confidence to the region. And following the commitments made by Minister Noonan at the Limerick Chamber President’s Dinner late 2012, we hope that this jobs announcement is the first of many for 2013.”
