Online! – Time Management and Organisation – 20th March 2026
ONLINE – TIME MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATION:
Personal Effectiveness and Development
Career progression has changed over the past couple of decades. There used to be clear paths that people would follow and their development needs would be clear. Today, careers are less certain and in this workshop you will learn how to take control of your effectiveness and development.
You will learn:
1. Reflective thinking. Often, in work, we experience great learning opportunities, but we don’t stop to process the knowledge. Reflective thinking is a skill that will help you make of the most of these experiences.
2. Identify your strengths. Most people think that a strength is “What you’re good at”, but there is more to a real “strength” than just being good at something. There are many people who are good at jobs, but they dislike them. A real “strength” has 3 components.
- You’re good at it, or have the potential to be good at it.
- You love doing it. You look forward to the next time.
- It serves the greater good for your company.
When these 3 come together impact and engagement increases. You will discover your real strengths and find out how to discover them in others.
3. Manage your Energy as well as your time. The demand for our time is continually increasing and the impact of AI is only going to increase the amount of ‘work’ that will be generated. How can we keep up when the amount of time we have is constant? The only way is to become more effective with the time we have. In this section you will learn about how to manage both your energy as well as your time.
