We are extremely honoured and humbled to receive this award and we hope it will help raise more awareness to Mental Health and get people talking to one another- A problem shared is a problem halved. Also, to highlight the fact that there are people struggling to cope with everyday life in Ireland and more needs to be done to help them
What is the biggest lesson you have learnt in business?
I suppose the biggest lesson we have learned since going out on patrol is that Suicide affects every walk of life and every age group. We have met teenagers, young adults, and older all with various problems and issues – some want to take their own lives and others simply want someone to listen. All need help of some kind and our goal is to see everyone home safely.
