Key message at Limerick Chamber AGM

Limerick Chamber AGM recently took place at King Johns Castle, the event highlighted the Chamber’s focus on delivering a member-centric approach, providing tailored training, networking, business advice and lobbying to ensure members maximise the benefits of being part of the largest business group in the region.

 
The AGM is also the occasion to appoint new Directors to the Board. This year out-going Directors Dermot Graham, AIB; Eoin Ryan HLB McKeogh Gallagher Ryan; and Dr. Mary Shire from UL were all re-appointed. Lavinia Duggan-Ryan, VHI and Liam Flannery of Flannery’s Bar were appointed incoming new Directors.

 
Chamber CEO Dr. James Ring was delighted to announce that Catherine Duffy, Vice-President and General Manager Northern Trust had agreed to serve as President for a two-year term. “Catherine Duffy is heading-up one of the largest employers in the region so the Chamber are very grateful for the energy, time and commitment she is giving to us as we seek to ensure Limerick remains a competitive and attractive location in which to invest, live and play” commented Dr. Ring.

 
The Chamber also extended a thank you to those Directors who retired during the year – Harry Fehily, Fergal Barry, Colm O’Brien and Patrick O’Sullivan – for their dedication and enthusiasm in serving the business community.
