Employer guidance on vaccinations in the workplace

Date: Tuesday 13th July 2021
Time: 2.00pm – 2.30pm

The Data Protection Commissioner recently provided guidance on the ability of employers to process data on an employee’s vaccination status. This guidance, along with the fact that there’s currently no legal basis to insist that people take the vaccine, can make managing vaccinations in the workplace tricky.

However, it’s important to do what you can to ensure your business moves forward as safely and strongly as possible. That means getting the answers on how you can encourage staff to have the vaccine, how you can resolve vaccine hesitancy issues, and what to do about employees returning to work without having the jab.

To deliver expert guidance on handling vaccinations in the workplace, we’re co-hosting a free webinar with employment law consultant Peninsula on 13th July at 2pm which will cover:

  • How to approach the issue of vaccinations with your workforce and communicate effectively with staff.
  • Whether you can encourage employees to have the vaccine or make it mandatory.
  • What to do if employees are uncomfortable with or don’t want to take the vaccine.
  • How to write a vaccine policy for your business.

By attending this webinar, you’ll learn how best to handle any workplace vaccination issue that arises.
