Limerick Chamber welcomes appointment of interim head to Limerick City of Culture

7 January 2014:  Limerick Chamber has welcomed the appointment of Mike Fitzpatrick as Interim Head of Limerick City of Culture project.

Mike Fitzpatrick is a well-respected academic and curator in the arts world.  He has a wealth of international experience and an impeccable track record of driving art institutions, exhibitions, and galleries at a world class level.

Limerick Chamber remains strongly supportive of the City of Culture Project and its vision to enhance a vibrant city recognised nationally and internationally as a cultural centre.  This project provides Limerick with a unique opportunity to celebrate the arts, cultural and sporting life of Limerick and provide inspiration to everyone who visits, works or lives in our city.
