New Director for Limerick Chamber Board

 

NEW DIRECTOR FOR LIMERICK CHAMBER BOARD

 

9 November 2015:  Dermot Graham, Head of Mid-west Business Centre for AIB Bank, has been appointed as a director to the Board of Limerick Chamber. He will replace outgoing director Dr Fergal Barry following his move to Galway to take up the role as President Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT).

 

Dermot is Head of AIB Midwest Business Centre with offices based at 106 O Connell St Limerick and Liberty Square Thurles covering counties Limerick, Clare and Tipperary.  AIB Business Banking provides a full range of Banking Services to large/medium business customers, with a particular focus on lending to the SME sector.

 

A native of Lisnagry, Co Limerick, Dermot joined AIB in 1978 and has 30 years’ experience working in various branches in Cork and 7 years working in Business Banking in Cork and Waterford before returning to Limerick in 2013.

 

Limerick Chamber Board consists of 15 representatives from a broad spectrum of industry.  It is headed by Catherine Duffy, Northern Trust as President and includes Ken Johnson, Pwc, Cathal Treacy, Deloitte, Patrick O’Sullivan, Healthwise, Colm O’Brien, Carambola Kidz, Liam Dwan, Brown Thomas, Noelette Ensko, Vistakon, George Kennedy, Homes O’Malley Sexton, Sean Lally, The Limerick Strand Hotel, Dr Mary Shire, University of Limerick, Eoin Ryan, HLB McKeogh Gallagher Ryan, David Jeffreys, Action Point Technology Group, Helen O’Donnell, Dolmen Catering, Fiona Connolly, Lyons of Limerick and Dermot Graham, AIB.
