Mid-West Businesses in the Spotlight as Limerick Chamber Unveils 2026 Regional Business Awards Shortlist

14 October 2026:

Limerick Chamber has announced the finalists for the 2026 Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards, sponsored by the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS). This year’s shortlist recognises those businesses and organisations across the Mid-West that are demonstrating excellence, innovation, leadership and growth.

Now in their 15th year, the awards celebrate achievements across a broad range of sectors, from emerging enterprises to established companies, as well as organisations making a significant contribution to their employees, the communities where they operate and the wider regional economy.

The winners will be announced at the Limerick Chamber President’s Dinner and Regional Business Awards on Friday, 13th November, at the Limerick Strand Hotel, at a Gala Dinner attended by senior leaders from across the region.

Maria Gleeson, President of Limerick Chamber, congratulated the shortlisted organisations, saying:

The Regional Business Awards are an important opportunity to recognise the businesses and people who are contributing to the success of our region. What stands out each year is the breadth of talent and enterprise across the Mid-West. From businesses finding new ways to innovate and grow, to organisations investing in their people and making a real difference in their communities, there is a great deal to acknowledge and celebrate and we look forward to recognising their success at our awards ceremony next month.

As sponsors of the Regional Business Awards, Professor Vincent Cunnane, President of the TUS, said:

TUS is delighted to back these awards which provide an important platform to recognise the businesses and organisations whose work is shaping the future of the Mid-West. At our university, we see first-hand the value of strong links between education, enterprise and industry. The achievements of this year’s finalists demonstrate the importance of innovation, skills and collaboration in supporting a competitive and thriving regional economy. We congratulate all those shortlisted and look forward to celebrating their achievements.
