The Enterprise Europe Network, in association with the EU SME Centre in Beijing, is hosting a half-day seminar focusing on the influential global market that is China.
The event will cover the supports available for Irish companies looking to do business in or with China; an introduction to China’s macroeconomic framework; opportunities by industry sector and location considerations, to name but a few topics. Companies will also have the opportunity to avail of one-to-one consultations with the speakers following the seminar.
An article in the current European Commission’s Enterprise & Industry magazine talks about how China has become a key market for SMEs hoping to make a splash overseas. Even so, China poses a series of challenges, including problems with protection of intellectual property rights and a dizzying web of regulations. But the China IPR Helpdesk, the EU SME Centre and the European Enterprise Network are here to help by bringing the risks – and rewards – of the Chinese market into focus. Full story
