Limerick Chamber Chief Executive Donnacha Hurley will leave the organisation to return to the hospitality sector, taking up the role of General Manager at the Strand Hotel in Limerick.
Donnacha joined Limerick Chamber as Chief Executive in March and has worked closely with the Chamber’s Board, team, members and stakeholders during his time with the organisation.

On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Donnacha for his contribution to Limerick Chamber and wish him every success as he returns to the hospitality sector in his new role as General Manager of the Strand Hotel.
Donnacha will remain an important part of the Limerick business community and we look forward to continuing to work with him.
The Chamber has a strong and experienced team and our focus remains firmly on delivering for our members and advocating for the continued economic development of Limerick and the wider Mid-West.

Hospitality has been an important part of my career, and the opportunity to return to the sector as General Manager of the Strand Hotel is one I am very excited to take up.

The Chamber’s senior leadership team will manage day-to-day operations during the transition, with oversight from the Board.
The Board will consider the Chamber’s longer-term leadership arrangements and communicate further in due course.
