“We act as a focal point for our Members by providing ongoing support, education, advocacy and member discounts on a range of services. We also have a very successful Annual Awards night which marks the industry leaders in terms of retail excellence in this country not to forget our Retail Retreat which will be held in Croke Park on May 9th and 10th and will host some of the most inspirational retail innovators and entrepreneurs from across the globe”.
“This partnership is a great fit for us as Limerick have many impressive retailers and we like to be actively involved in supporting these businesses throughout their journey and helping them be the best they can be. 2017 will be a year of great positivity and progress in the Irish Retail Industry. Therefore, this meeting is unmissable for all discerning retailers who want to increase sales, influence policy and assert their position in the marketplace.
CEO of Limerick Chamber, Dr James Ring said “As someone who grew up in a family with a grocery store, I will always have a deep appreciation and respect for the long hours worked and often low profits, if any made by retailers. Limerick Chamber is delighted to be partnering with Retail Excellence Ireland to bring a dual membership plan to our local retailers in what will be a synergistic relationship for all involved. The members will benefit from paying one membership fee and availing of all the benefits of both. A goal on Limerick Chambers strategic plan specifically states the need to support our Cities retailers, we have a large number of KPI’s in this area and this is a major milestone to achieving this overall goal.
“Limerick Chamber will always be committed to supporting retailer in the region. This offer is open to all retailers in the region and I would urge them to take it up. Organisations like Limerick Chamber and Retail Excellence are here to make life that little bit easier for you so get involved.”
