Limerick Chamber is pleased to announce that Seán Golden, Director, Chief Economist and Director of Policy at Limerick Chamber, has been appointed as the business representative to the Limerick Local Community Safety Partnership.
The appointment ensures that the perspectives of Limerick’s employers, employees and wider business community will be represented as local priorities for community safety are identified and addressed.
A collaborative approach to community safety
Local Community Safety Partnerships are statutory structures established under the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024. They bring together residents, businesses, community and voluntary organisations, elected representatives, An Garda Síochána, local authorities, public services and state agencies.
Each Partnership is responsible for developing and implementing a tailored Local Community Safety Plan. This enables local challenges to be addressed through coordinated action informed by the people who live, work and do business in the area.
