SME Online Tool to assist business launched in Limerick

Limerick Chamber has today (19/05/2014) welcomed the launch by Minister Noonan of an Online Tool to assist SMEs and Entrepreneurs identify government supports available to them.

Speaking at the launch, Chamber CEO Maria Kelly said “For some time Limerick Chamber has been lobbying government to introduce an online platform, which would interact with businesses in a clear and concise manner, to help identify what supports are available to them.

With over 80 government business support systems in Ireland it can be a minefield for small businesses to decipher which supports they are eligible for. This information barrier needed to be dealt with and we are delighted once again to have successfully lobbied for yet another tool to assist our members, start-ups and growing businesses across the region.

Today also marks an exciting time locally in the provision of business supports with the launch of Limerick’s new Local Enterprise Office (LEO). Limerick Chamber look forward to working with the team at the LEO to help businesses across our region expand and grow” concluded Ms. Kelly.
