In this region we are very fortunate to have a dedicated conference bureau offering a totally free service. The Shannon Region Conference and Sports Bureau is a public/private partnership which aims to build on the reputation of the Shannon region as an excellent destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions and sporting events. It is staffed by full-time professionals who understand the needs of meeting planners and event organisers.
The following are some of the FREE services at your disposal through the bureau:
- Free assistance in locating suitable facilities, accommodation and service suppliers, including the seeking of quotations on your behalf.
- Coordinate and funding of site inspection visits
- Assistance and funding support for international meetings
- Free advice on social and partner programmes and free promotional materials and delegate discount cards
